Monitoring the Communicating Voltage Releases
Presentation
The voltage releases undergo wear due to the number of opening/closing operations. It is recommended to check them at periodic intervals to decide whether they must be changed or not.
In order to assist with the maintenance of the communicating voltage releases the MicroLogic Active control unit monitors:
-
The diagnostic and communicating MX1 opening voltage release (MX1 diag&com).
-
The diagnostic and communicating XF closing voltage release (XF diag&com).
For more information about the maintenance of voltage releases, refer to DOCA0305•• MasterPacT MTZ IEC Circuit Breakers with MicroLogic Active Control Unit - Maintenance Guide.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for monitoring the MX1 and XF communicating voltage releases are the same as the prerequisites for using them.
Operating Principle
The MicroLogic Active control unit:
-
Checks the presence of voltage releases.
-
Monitors the state of the internal circuit of the voltage releases.
-
Generates events when it detects incorrect operation of the voltage releases or cannot detect the presence of the voltage releases.
Predefined Events
The monitoring of the communication voltage releases generates the following events:
Code |
