Download an Existing Design Style

After a Design Style is configured, you can download its .stylx file. Then, you can re-open it in ArcGIS Pro to make symbol modifications.

You can also download a .stylx file to use as a “primer” for a new Design Style. This is a great way to leverage existing work, especially if you need to change only a few colors or symbols for a new Design Style.

1. In Solution Center > Designer > Client Application > Design Styles, find the Design Style you need to download. Click its name once in the left-hand column to highlight it in green (the names of your Design Styles vary from the image).

   

2. Click the Download button and choose a location on your machine.
