Enable Network Topology

In this step you select a specific utility network then enable network topology.

NOTE: If you receive an error stating that Topology must be disabled, this indicates that topology is already enabled, so you can proceed to creating a map and adding data.

On the Geoprocessing tab, type “Enable Network Topology”. Ensure that you select the option from Utility Network Tools.
In the Input Utility Network field, browse to the Project’s .sde database, then highlight the utility network to display the specific utility network on the right side of the dialog. Highlight that and click OK.
Click Run.
