Web Layer Sharing

Web feature layers are appropriate for visualizing data on top of a basemap and can be used as inputs for analysis and in sync-based workflows. Having already published a web layer for online viewing, you need to share this web layer with sync enabled to allow users to view it offline.

  1. From the Share menu in ArcGIS Pro, select Web Layer > Publish Web Layer to launch the Share As Web Layer dialog.

  2. In the Share As Web Layer dialog, ensure that the Feature checkbox under the General tab is ticked.

  3. Next, select the Configuration tab and configure the Feature layer properties by clicking the corresponding pencil icon.

  4. In the Feature Properties sub-dialog, disable editing and ensure the Enable Sync checkbox is ticked.
