Filtering

Preconfigured View Filters offer users the ability to hide features that are not relevant to the work currently being performed. When a user applies a View Filter, ArcFM Mobile limits displayed features to those matching the filter criteria.

IMPORTANT: View Filters in ArcFM Mobile can operate on offline (downloaded) maps or on locally rendered online maps. For filters to function correctly on the client side, administrators should either enable local rendering in ArcFM Solution Center for online maps or ensure that users download replicas for offline usage.

To define a View Filter, specify which types of features you wish to be displayed when the filter is applied. You may include as few or as many available features as you wish. In this example, the View Filter allows Bus Bars, Dynamic Protective Devices, Fuses, and 10 other features (for a total of 13) to display while hiding all other types of features.

For each visible feature, edit the fields over which the filter operates. In this example, the filter applies to the FEEDERID and FEEDERID2 fields for Bus Bars, Dynamic Protective Devices, Fuses, and the 10 other features selected above and only displays features for which the FEEDERID or FEEDERID2 fields match the filter criteria.

Once you have fully defined the View Filter, click Save to make it available to ArcFM Mobile users in your organization.
