Publish the Web Layer

In this step you configure settings for publishing the web layer.

Single-click the new map name to rename it.
On the ribbon bar, navigate to the Share tab and select Publish Web Layer.
Select the Feature checkbox under the Data and Layer Type section.
Provide information for Summary and Tags as relevant.
Under the Share with section of the General tab, select the groups (e.g., Mobile Admins) that need shared with the web layer.
On the Configuration tab, click the pencil button to edit the Feature Layer.
Under the Properties heading, select the two checkboxes for default z and geometry updates without m-value.
Navigate back to the previous screen and under Capabilities, select the Version Management checkbox.
Select a Folder to publish the map to under the Location heading.
Click Analyze and resolve any issues.
Click Publish.
