Tracing Configuration to Point to Named Trace

Now that you have created the trace within ArcGIS Pro, it is time to bring it into Solution Center so your end users can employ it.

  1. In Solution Center > Editor > Editor Maps, choose the appropriate operational map in the drop-down (the image below is just an example, and the name of your map differs).

  2. Under Select a Domain Network to Configure, choose your utility domain (electric or gas).

  3. Click Tracing Configuration.

  4. Click the Add New button.

  5. Populate the fields:

    1. For Display Name, type a user-friendly name. This is seen in the application by end users.

    2. For the Key, type a unique identifier for the trace. Do not use spaces, and instead, use underscores, if necessary.

    3. For Description, type a user-friendly description of what this trace accomplishes.

    4. For Named trace configuration, use the drop-down to point to the trace you previously configured in ArcGIS Pro.

    5. Click Save.

  6. To test the trace, close and restart ArcGIS Pro, if necessary.

  7. Test the trace.
