Apply the Asset Package
At this point, you have accepted or modified our asset package to model your GIS data, connected an enterprise geodatabase to your project, created a new database user, and staged the utility network (UN). Now you apply the asset package to the utility network to create a series of tables, feature layers, and relationships that define your GIS project. Editor XI works with these tables and layers to represent them as features on a map.
To configure the UN:
-
In ArcGIS Pro, open the Geoprocessing window and search for Apply Asset Package.
-
Click the tool and the Apply Asset Package window opens.
-
Next to the Asset Package field, click the folder icon and navigate to your unzipped asset package file or your modified asset package file that reflects your data model changes. Select the file and click OK.
-
Under Domain Networks, enable both Structure and Electric domain networks.
-
In the Catalog pane, expand the Databases folder and select the Utility Network
file. Drag and drop the file next to the Input Utility Network field.
-
To increase performance, enable Calculate Spatial Index and Analyze, then click Run.
-
In the Catalog pane, right click on the enterprise geodatabase, and click Refresh. Repeat this with the ElectricNetwork dataset.
After refresh, you see all the UN tables in your domain network and your dataset’s UN components.
