Configure Conduit Manager

Conduit Manager must be configured in Solution Center prior to using it in ArcFM Editor XI. Follow the steps below to configure Conduit Manager for your organization.
  1. On the Editor Maps tab in Solution Center for Editor, select your conduit Operational Map, then change the Select a Domain Network to configure drop-down to Structure.
IMPORTANT: The Conduit Manager configuration appears in the drop-down only for Esri Utility Network version 4.0 and greater.

The Structure vertical tabs display below the Select a Domain Network to configure drop-down.

  2. On the Structure Settings vertical tab, select the DuctDiameterUnits and MapUnits values that coincide with your organization mapping units from the appropriate drop-downs. In the MaxDucts field, type the maximum number of ducts you want a duct wall to contain (this limits the number of ducts created using the Create Duct Bank tool). Then click Save.

IMPORTANT: If you have ducts in your map, changing the DuctDiameterUnit and MapUnit settings that your map was initially created with to a different unit of measure is not recommended or supported. Doing so could impact the spacing and size of ducts. It's recommended that once the unit of measure is set, you don't modify it.

  3. Select the Structure Field Names vertical tab, then set the field drop-downs as outlined in the table below. When you have set all the field values, click Save.
