Configure Field and Class Model Names

To get the benefit of the Editor XI functionality, Editor requires field mapping and sometimes feature class mapping. To provide these definitions, select your service domain in the Select a domain network to configure drop-down.

1. Select Field Names.

   From the Fields tab, a list of field names is visible with drop-down fields next to them. The drop-down list contains your utility’s unique field names.

2. Choose your utility’s field name that is equivalent to the field name on the left. Repeat for all visible field names.

   

3. From the Class Model Names tab, a list of model names is visible to the right. To add a feature class with this model name assigned, click the button.

   

4. If you make a mistake while configuring, click the Cancel button to undo any changes. After mapping field names and class model names, click the Save button.

Model name configurations are deleted by clicking the Delete button next to the model name setting on the Class Model Names tab.
