Remote Connection Using VPN (Secure)

If you want to connect remotely to a KNX IP interface via the Internet, we recommend using a VPN connection, as this is a secure connection. Connect the KNX IP interface via VPN as follows:

1. Connect your computer to a VPN.

2. Go to the Upload tab in eConfigure and click Select Interface.  

3. eConfigure/ETS cannot search for KNX IP interface through the VPN connection, so you have to add the interface manually: Click Add interface and fill in the Add interface form.
