Collapse Design Items and Expand Design Items

Every CU you incorporate into your design is listed in the Project pane. New CUs sketched in the map always begin in the No WL (No Work Location) area at the top of the Project pane. After that, you can either drag and drop them into Work Locations or use the Auto Assign Work Locations tool. You may also add CUs directly to Work Locations or to the No WL area.

In a complex design, there can be hundreds of CUs, and the Project Pane can become quite busy.

At the bottom of the Project pane, click the Collapse Design Items tool and the Expand Design Items tool to hide or display the design items in the Project pane.

Both tools collapse and expand in a staggered manner. They do not instantly collapse all or expand all. Instead, they collapse or expand to the next logical grouping level:

  • Work Location

    • Work Function

      • Driving CU

        • Non-Drawn CU

      • Driving CU

    • Work Function

  • Work Location
