Service Drop

A service drop is a combination feature with both secondary conductor and meter sketched simultaneously.

Sketching

• Click in the map to place the conductor portion of the service drop. Each click adds a vertex, and a double-click finishes the sketch. Upon finishing the sketch, the service meter portion of the service drop is sketched at the end of the conductor.

• Service drops snap to transformers and other available network junctions along an existing conductor.

• Service drops inherit phasing. When snapping a single-phase service drop to a multiple-phase transformer, you are prompted to choose the appropriate phase once sketched; further, the application displays the remaining kVA per phase during this process.
