Component Information Pane

The Component Information pane provides detailed information about any one component you have selected on the map or in the Project pane. This pane can be used with components that were imported from the GIS into the design area or with components you have placed in your design.

• Components that were imported provide attributes in read-only format:

  

• Components you added in the design have editable attributes (the available fields are configurable at a company level, and your fields like differ from the following image):

  

Each type of feature you select has slightly different pieces of information available to view and, in some cases, interact with across the application. In general, everything the application knows about the component (whether it comes from the GIS, the design, or on the fly calculations) is displayed in the Component Information pane.
