Consumption Overview (Advanced Model)

Presentation

The Panel Server Advanced Home menu allows you to see an analytical overview of energy consumption. For more information, see Home menu.

Availability

This function is available on Panel Server Advanced.

Setting the Parameters

The Home menu is available on the EcoStruxure Panel Server webpages, at Home.

Consumption Settings

The following table describes the settings.

Parameter	Description
Commodity	Used to select the commodity type (Electricity (default setting), Gas, Fuel Oil, Air, Steam, Water)
Period	Used to select the period duration (One day, One week, 4 weeks, Custom).
From	Used to select the start date for each period: Select the current period (Period 1) start date. Select the previous period (Period 2) start date. NOTE: The default start date for pre-defined periods depends on the period selected: One day: Period 1: D-1; Period 2: D-2 One week: Period 1: D-7; Period 2: D-14 4 weeks: Period 1: D-4 weeks; Period 2: D-8 weeks For the Custom period, the end date of the second period is set automatically to ensure that the two periods are of the same length. NOTE: The default period is one day and the start date is yesterday (D-1).
To	Used to select the period end date.

Pie-Chart Display

The top consumers are displayed in the form of a pie-chart:

By usage (Period 1 compared to period 2)
By zone (Period 1 compared to period 2)

The pie-chart shows the distribution of the top five consumers over the first period, from devices where usage or zone has been defined. A sixth group shows all other consumers.

Different data are displayed on the Home page:

A table to the right of each pie-chart shows:
- The consumers by color
- The percentage of the total consumption that each consumer represents
- The consumption for each consumer
- An indication of the increase or decrease in the second period, compared to the first, as a percentage
- An arrow icon indicating if the trend of the change is increasing or decreasing. If there is no change, no icon is displayed.

In the centre of the pie-chart By usage (Period 1 compared to period 2), the following information is displayed:
- Line 1: Main supply with:
  - Main incomer total over period 1
  - A percentage indicating the overall change in period 2 compared to period 1
  - An arrow icon indicating the trend. If there is no change, no icon is displayed.
- Line 2: Loads with:
  - Total consumption over period 1
  - A percentage indicating the overall change in period 2 compared to period 1
  - An arrow icon indicating the trend. If there is no change, no icon is displayed.
- Line 3: kWh not assigned indicates the difference between the main incomer total (see Main supply) and total consumption (Loads), if any. It is recommended to install and configure a meter to monitor each load, and assign the Main/Incomer usage to at least one meter so that this line is not displayed, meaning that Main supply and Loads display the same total.
  Thus, no information is displayed if Main supply and Loads display the same total.

In the centre of the pie-chart By zone (Period 1 compared to period 2), the following information is displayed:
- 1 Line with:
  - Total consumption over period 1
  - A percentage indicating the overall change in period 2 compared to period 1
  - An arrow icon indicating the trend. If there is no change, no icon is displayed.
