IHC Interface

In the SWITCHBOARD > Actuators tab, you can add the SpaceLogic IHC Interface to the switchboard. The IHC Interface forms the central connection point between eConfigure and all IHC Input, Output, and Dimming modules.

The IHC Interface can be added:

Manually, using Add Actuator

Adding the IHC Interface (Manual Method)

Open the SWITCHBOARD tab.
Ensure the Actuators view is selected.
Click Add Actuator.
In the Add actuator dialog, scroll or search for:
SpaceLogic IHC Interface, 8 Inputs, 16 Outputs, 1 x RS-485
Select the device.

The IHC Interface now appears in the currently active SWITCHBOARD.

IHC Interface Details in the Switchboard

After adding the IHC Interface, the device is displayed as a full switchboard component including:

Product image of the IHC Interface
Actuator type line showing the device name and model
A clickable product link (blue text) which opens the product page on the Schneider Electric website
Status information about:
- number of Input modules
- number of Output modules
Below the IHC Interface, three action buttons appear:
- Add Input Module
- Add Output Module
These actions allow you to construct the entire IHC hardware structure directly within the SWITCHBOARD.
