Prerequisites for IHC Integration

Before you can configure or maintain an IHC installation in eConfigure KNX, the following conditions must be met:

• Controller hardware requirements:
  The hardware version of the Wiser for KNX/spaceLYnk controller must be 3.2 or higher.

• Controller firmware requirements:
  The controller firmware (Wiser for KNX/spaceLYnk) must be version 3.1 or higher.
  This is required for the IHC plug‑in, IHC Interface handling, and hybrid I/O management.

• IHC Interface pairing:
  The IHC Interface must be paired with the controller.
  Pairing is performed inside the IHC plugin, which is installed on the Wiser for KNX/spaceLYnk controller.
  Without a paired IHC Interface, eConfigure KNX cannot create or upload any IHC configuration.

• Catalog requirement:
  The Danish product catalog must be selected when creating the project, or in My user settings → Product catalog for....
  Without the Danish catalog, IHC devices, loads, and IHC switchboard components will not be visible in the software.

• Supported system type:
  Only IHC wired devices are supported. – Airlink (wireless IHC) is not supported.

Meeting these prerequisites ensures that eConfigure KNX can correctly recognize the IHC Interface, manage IHC input/output/dimming modules, and enable full programming capabilities between IHC, KNX, and ZigBee devices.
