Markup Support in Session Manager

Support for Sessions extends to markups. Editors can assign any number of markup assignments to their edit session to facilitate updating the System of Record with the As-Builts recorded by field crews through the markups.

IMPORTANT: Markups remain assigned to the user who completed the edit assignment as the session continues through the Session Manager workflow.

To see if a markup is associated to a session, click on the Markups tab on the session card. Any associated markups appear along with several tools including Zoom to markup , Pan to markup , Show only selected markups , and the Remove buttons.

Additional markups can be added to an existing session by clicking the Add button. A list of markups is now visible from which to choose. Select the associated markup, and click OK. Users can sort and filter markups on the Select Markups dialog using the options listed to the right of Sort By. This sorts or filters not just the markups currently displayed on the page, but all markups.

The first option is a drop-down that sorts by the creation date of the markups. The options are Most Recent and Oldest. Depending on which is selected, it displays the selection at the top of the list. Once a user changes the selection, the list automatically updates (without having to click any other buttons).

The next filter option is a search box that searches the markup names. Type the term you want to search for, then click the Search button to run the search. However, users can also add additional filters before clicking the Search button.

The two remaining filter options are both drop-downs. The first contains a list of all the users so the search can be filtered by the person (or role) that submitted the markup. The other filter allows to search by Markup Type, and lists the different types of markups in the list.

Once you have set the filters you want to apply, click the Search button and the markup list updates. You can also press Enter instead of clicking the Search button.

After you have located the markup you want to add, click the box next to the markup to select it. When you have selected all the markups you want to add to the session, click OK.
