Duct List Tab
To view the Duct List tab, click on the List tab next to the Layout Tab in the Layout Editor. It lists the different ducts present on the selected duct bank.
The vault wall is listed at the top of the layout List, followed by the duct bank. Each item listed under the duct bank represents one of the ducts present in the duct bank. The ducts are labeled in the list with their diameter and material, for example: Fiber, 2”.
Click on a duct to display the Duct Attributes below the Duct List. This displays the Duct ID, Diameter, Shape, Material, Facility ID, and check boxes for Available and Occupied. These fields are all editable in the Duct Attributes. Be sure to click the Save button if any edits are made. This is not the same as saving edits in a session. You still need to save edits in the session.
The selected duct is also selected in the Duct Layout tab if you switch to that tab from the Duct List tab.
If necessary, you can adjust the diameter or material in the Attribute View by selecting a value from the drop-downs. The values displayed in the drop-downs correspond to the domains mapped to the fields for both Duct Diameter and Material. Click Save to save your changes or click Cancel to return your changes to the original values.
Edits made to ducts display in the Duct List tab highlighted in different colors. A newly added duct displays in green text and is preceded with NEW for easy identification. The duct bank to which the duct was added, displays in dark yellow font with MODIFIED prior to the duct bank name and information. Additionally, if the attributes on an existing duct are changed or it is moved, that duct also displays in dark yellow font with MODIFIED prior to the duct name in the Duct List tab.
Edits made appear in these different colors until the Save button is clicked at the bottom of the Layout Editor pane. Then the colors will change to the typical black font.
The Save button on the Layout Editor pane does not save edits to your session. You still need to save on the Session Manager ribbon to commit your edits to the session.
