Prompt for Z Values

If you want to be prompted for Z values while using the Create Duct Bank tool, you can toggle the setting in Conduit Manager Options.

When you toggle on the Z values prompt under Create Duct Bank Tool, then when you click to place a vertex along the path of a duct bank, you are prompted for the Z value.

After saving that setting, whenever you snap to a feature, you are prompted to input a Z value each time you snap.

If you encounter an error message similar to the one below when typing the values for your rows and columns, you have exceeded the maximum number of ducts your organization has set for creating duct banks with the Create Duct Bank tool. This value can be adjusted in Solution Center. See the Configure Conduit Manager topic for additional details about this configuration.
