Remove Cable
Cables can be deleted from a duct on either the Layout or
List tab in Layout Editor. You may remove one cable or multiples with
one action.
NOTE: Removing a cable does not change the Available
property on the duct but does affect the Occupied property. Removing
all cables in a duct sets the Occupied property to false and changes
the visual display on the Layout tab.
- If you start from the Layout tab, select the duct which contains the cable or cables that you wish to remove.
- Right-click and select the Edit cables option.
The focus shifts to the List tab with the selected cable(s) higlighted.
- From the List tab, select one of the remove menu options.
- Right click a cable to show the Remove cable option.
- Right click on the duct to show the Remove all cables
option.
- Right click a cable to show the Remove cable option.
- Click Save to complete the edit in Layout Editor. This does not save the edits to your session. Session edits need to be saved using the Save button in the Session Manager ribbon tab.
