Design Support in Session Manager

Editor XI provides the ability to create sessions directly from a design pushed by graphic work design app, Designer XI. With a session selected, click the Design tab on the session card to display information about the design from which the session was created.

A session with an associated design displays a small plus sign next to the Design tab. Click the Design+ tab to see relevant information about the design.

When you open a session with an associated design, Editor XI opens centered on the work request polygon of the session. This geolocation is updated upon each closure of the session for that assignment (edit, review, or approval).

Associated designs follow the session through the Session Manager workflow until that session has been approved by the Session Approval Officer.

Markups created as part of a design are also associated to the session in Editor XI.

Sessions not created from a design state do not have an associated design, and display no information on the Design tab.
