Session Manager Roles

Session Manager has different user roles that allow users to perform different tasks within the workflow. This section describes the roles used in Session Manager.

Role	Description
Editor	This user completes edits in a session and sends for approval. They are also responsible for making additional edits if a session is rejected.
Assurance Officer	This user reviews edits made by Editors and either approves or rejects the session. At Editor XI 11.4 and later the duties of this role are completed by the Session Approval Officer if your organization chooses to use the two-state Session Manager workflow.
Session Approval Officer	This user reviews edits made by Editors and either approves or rejects the session. Also has the ability to post version which indicates a session is complete and committed to the default.
