Duct Placement

Ducts can be moved around the duct wall within the Duct Layout tab so they mimic the real world layout.

Click on the duct you want to move so it is selected and displays the selection box around it.

TIP: If you want to move more than one duct at a time, hold the shift button to select multiple ducts at once.
Place your cursor within the selection box so that it turns to a four-pointed arrow.
While the four-pointed arrow is displayed, click and drag the duct to the location you want to move it to.
The outline of the moved duct changes from black to dark yellow for easy identification. It stays that color until you save the move in the Layout Editor pane. The moved duct also displays on the Duct List tab in dark yellow font with the MODIFIED preceding the Duct ID.

While a duct is selected in the Duct Layout tab, the Duct Attributes section is displayed so you can easily update attributes of the duct while you’re placing it.
Click Save in the Layout Editor pane to complete the move.

TIP: The save button only applies your edits, it does not save the edits in your session.
