Select a component type from the drop-down list. Designer HFC updates the list of available components based on the type you select.

You can set the default equipment that Designer HFC uses by selecting the circle to the right of a component in the list. A green-filled circle denotes the default component Designer HFC will use when placing equipment of that type. If a piece of equipment is marked as default in Designer HFC Catalog, you will see Default to the right of the component's name. The default you select in Designer HFC will override any defaults set in Designer HFC Catalog for the current project.
