How do I get the MDU connected to the stranding network so that Network Path is updated?

There are two types of MDUs: address point and footprint. There are also two types of address points: standard and MDU. Only address points {standard and MDU) have a Network Path populated.

The following is an MDU address point with a house count of 3:

To place the above MDU address point in the map, hold down the Ctrl key and click the Place Address Point  icon, then click near a structure. The MDU address dialogue displays:

Type a House Number, provide an Address, then increment the Residential/Commercial Customer Counts as appropriate. Click OK.

Notice the drop arrow at the top of the MDU address point:

Drop arrows are created automatically when you place an address point near a structure {pole or underground}. Since address points are associated directly with structures when they are created, a drop arrow acts as your visual indication that an association has been created.

The Network Path will be updated the same way for address points inside and outside of an MDU footprint.
