Plugin Annotations

Conditioning taps and inline equalizer reverse conditioners (LEQ/RC) can be coupled with a variety of plugins. The plugins are annotated on the map next to the tap or equalizer symbol.

For example, in the image below the conditioning tap has a reverse path attenuator plugin. And, that plugin has a pad value of 1.

For all annotations, the format is “plugin type - pad/equalizer value.”

The plugin abbreviations are:

• CE: Cable Equalizer

• CS: Cable Simulator

• HT: High Tap Value

• JMP: Jumper

• RA: Return Path Attenuator
