Validation Tab

The Validation tab lists all the existing design validation errors in the network, as well as in each component. The application lists the type of violation, the details of the component in violation, and a short description of the cause of the violation. Further, you can zoom to the errant component from the tab.

The Validation tab offers three levels of grouping to help sort issues:

• Validation Type: This groups the errors by validation type, then by component name

• Component: This groups the errors by component, then by validation type

• Severity: This groups the errors by severity (error or warning), then by component type

Once grouped, the application sorts the issues alphabetically.
