Upgrade a Node

Node	Click to upgrade a node with a node from a different project file. This changes the active project associated with your design. See the topic Override Active Project for more information. This action is helpful if you want to determine the impact on your network of selecting a node from a different project file, which is particularly important based on a company's need to invest in changing technologies. After upgrading, a node is automatically locked and auto-optimization might be disabled. To see how the node upgrade affects components in the network, ensure that the Prevent Auto Optimize icon is not activated. Also ensure that the node itself is not locked. Then, right-click the node and select Optimize. This action reevaluates the entire network based on the proposed upgrade.
