Feature Flags

Designer XI offers flexibility in terms of what functions you want to implement at your company and when. You might want a new function immediately upon its release, or you might want to wait to implement a new function to ensure your company applications are ready for integration.

To offer this flexibility, some functions (but not all) are released “behind a Feature Flag.” This means they are released “turned off” by default, and are they turned on at the request of the customer and consultation with the implementation team.

Some functions remain behind a Feature Flag in perpetuity. Other functions eventually become a part of the core product, and they no longer reside behind a Feature Flag.

Customers cannot turn Feature Flags on or off by themselves. Your implementation team performs that task after ensuring your installation is appropriate for the functionality.
