Components That Can Be Symbolized
Symbology refers to the look and feel (size, shape, color, etc.) of the components on the map, both those newly-sketched and those imported. Do you want different colors for install and remove? Do you want to symbolize overhead and underground differently?
Symbology work occurs later (see Design Styles). However, during your specification gathering meeting, you will likely also discuss which components require symbology.
The following components can be symbolized in the application:
Electric
Capacitor, Circuit Breaker, Conductor, Conduit, Cut Point, Duct Bank, Electric Component, Fault Indicator, Feeder Source, Fuse, Generic Line, Guy, Load Break Switch, Pole, Recloser, Sectionalizer, Service Point, Span Guy, Structure, Switch, Transformer, Voltage Regulator, Work Location
Gas
Conduit, Cut Point, Fitting, Generic Line, Generic Point, Meter Setting, Pipe, Valve, Work Location
