Create Reference Views for Basemaps

Your Designer XI implementation makes use of several Operational Maps, any of which may contain dozens, or even hundreds, of spatial layers. Reference Views let you pick and choose layers from one or many Operational Maps and create a subset of those layers to present to the end user. Essentially, you can winnow down large sets of spatial layers into logical groupings that are viewable within the Designer XI application.

• Creating Reference Views occurs entirely within Solution Center.

• Creating the underlying Operational Maps involves publishing map services and then uploading them to Solution Center.
