Locking or unlocking the PM5561 / PM5661 / PM5761
After you initialize the meter, you must lock it in order
to conform to MID/MIR standards.
Before you lock your meter:

Make sure you have completed all necessary configuration.

Perform a meter initialization reset to clear any previously accumulated meter data.
A lost lock passcode cannot be recovered.

a secure location.
Failure to follow these instructions can result

- Set Security Lock by entering a non-zero passcode (a number between 1 and 9999).

Select Yes to confirm locking the
meter, then exit the screen.
A lock icon appears on the upper left corner of the screen.

Make sure you record and store the lock passcode in a secure
location.
NOTE: To change the lock passcode, unlock the meter then lock it again using a different passcode. Make sure you record this new passcode and store it in a secure place.
