Add Point

You can add individual points without a .csv file. This is handy if you have a coordinate or two to drop in your design for reference purposes.

1. On the Guides pane, click the Add Point tool.

2. Type (or paste) the X and Y coordinates.

3. Optionally, type a Name.

4. Choose a Spatial Reference. Regarding the Spatial Reference, your GIS administrator can configure which choices are available. Further, they can assist you with which reference to use for your particular points. See the Implementation Guide topic Configure Spatial Reference for Guides Pane for more information.

   

5. Click Add.

6. Notice your Guide point appears.

7. The Add Point dialog remains open, in case you want to add more. When finished, close the dialog.
