Component Filter

When you click a component directly from the Design tab, the CU Search dialog is already filtered to that component type. In other words, if you click Place Transformer, the CU Search shows you transformers. If you click Place Valve, it shows you valves.

However, when you choose to Search CUs from the click wheel (or use the hotkey Ctrl +F), the CU Search dialog does not initially know which component type you are looking for.

To assist your search, after you type part of the CU code, name, or description, click the desired component type directly in the CU Search dialog.
