Partial Push

Designer XI’s out-of-the-box Partial Push workflow lets designers commit individual pieces of a design to new GIS sessions as those pieces become ready. This differs from the traditional design workflow in which all elements of a design are committed to one GIS session at once.

A designer may choose to partially commit a design to a new GIS session for any number of reasons. For example, a designer working on a new subdivision may wish to push different areas at different phases of construction. Partial Push makes such staged deployment possible.

NOTE:

The Partial Push workflow creates a new session and version for each Partial Push that is requested
The Partial Push workflow works out of the box against geometric networks (GN) in ArcMap and utility networks (UN) in ArcGIS Pro.
The Partial Push workflow does not validate that previous Partial Pushes have been successfully completed.
