Conductor

A conductor is a linear feature with single or multiple phases.

Sketching

• Click in the map to place a new conductor. Each click adds a vertex, and a double-click finishes the sketch.

• Conductors may also be placed using Precision Editing Tools.

• Conductors snap to other conductors and devices and inherit phasing. If sketching a single-phase conductor onto a multiple-phase conductor, you are prompted to choose the appropriate phase once sketched.

  IMPORTANT: When a single-phase conductor is split from a multi-phase conductor, the operating voltage associated with the single-phase conductor is displayed as either a calculated “line-to-ground” voltage or as an inherited “line-to-line” voltage in accordance with behavior configured in Solution Center.

• Conductors can also snap to guide points for precision placement.
