Maps Pane

The Maps pane provides the ability to change the look and feel of the map features, toggle reference layers, change the underlying basemap, and work with CAD data. More information about all these functions is provided in subsequent help topics.

The pane has four areas (each of these areas has its own topic in this help chapter):

• Design

• Reference

• Backdrop

• CAD

Under Reference are four tools:

• Inspect

• Add Data

• Add Reference Design

• Refresh Layers

IMPORTANT: For electric customers with Extended Feeder Manager (EFM), your Add Data tool is found on the Design tab toolbar along the top of the interface.

Under CAD there are seven tools:

• Import CAD File

• Move CAD File to Current Extent

• Move CAD

• Rotate CAD

• Adjust CAD

• Pan to CAD

• Export Design to CAD
