A north arrow is located in the lower, right-hand corner of the map. By default, maps are oriented to have north pointing straight up. If you rotate the map display (rotate is found in the Maps Pane > Design subtab), the north arrow automatically rotates to indicate the new direction of north.
There is no user interaction with the north arrow. The application rotates it in response to the typed rotation angle.
