Equipment Types
If you check boxes for components under Equipment Types, the application exports the equipment specifications (specs) for those checked components to an Excel table.
What Do Equipment Types Look Like in the Excel Table?
Each type gets its own tab in the same Excel table. Using the image above as an example, there would be a tab for cables and another tab for fuses.
All equipment types have an ID in GUID format. This ID is used in the Spec to CU Relationships table.
The remaining columns in the Excel table vary for each equipment type.
“Spec” refers to the collection of attributes required to uniquely describe a type of component, gas or electric. For example, a transformer spec might look like the following:
Rated kVA |
High Side Voltage |
Low Side Voltage |
High Side Configuration |
Low Side Configuration |
Phase Count |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
15 |
12.5 kV Grounded Y |
120 / 240 Volts |
Single Phase - Line to Ground |
Single Phase |
Single |
The combination of the six attributes above receive a spec ID. This ID is used in the Spec to CU Relationships table.
