Bulk Creation of Application Data for Dimmers

To create application items:

Pre-requiste: The Create Application Item button is enabled only if the Device ID is assigned.

1. Click Create Application Items.

   

   The Create Application Items dialogue box appears.

   

   By default, the Error Channels for Used Dimmer Channels and Error Channels for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply and Unit Errors check boxes are selected.

2. Assign Mode Control Enable Group in Error Reporting section of PROPERTIES, then the Mode Control Group Values check box is selected in Create Application Items dialogue box.

3. Below are similar scenarios when you select options in Error Reporting section:

   Conditions you assign	Error Application Behavior
   Regular Reporting — Minimum Errors, Most Recent only/Minimum Errors, Most Recent and Most Severe	Error Channels for Used Dimmer Channel check box is disabled and unchecked by default.
   Trigger Group	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Trigger Group Action Selector for each used Dimmer Channel (request individual errors) Trigger Group Action Selectors for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply and Unit Errors Trigger Group Action Selector 255 for all errors
   Regular Reporting — Minimum Errors, Most Recent only / Minimum Errors, Most Recent and Most Severe	Pre-requiste: Trigger Group must be assigned. Trigger Group Action Selector for each used Dimmer Channel (request individual errors) check box is disabled and unchecked by default.

4. Click Create to generate the application items. C-Gate creates the items and displays them in the relevant application workspace in the client, based on the NCC Dimmers_Create Application Items file in the project folder.

   
   NOTE: Below are the creation conditions:

   • Creation occurs only when the associated Application Item check box is selected.

   • If the Error Application is not present on the C-Bus network, clicking Create Application Items adds the Error Application to the network before beginning the creation process.

   • Application items are created based on project data only, except when one or more of the following Property Editor properties differ from the saved project data:

     • Device ID

     • Mode Control Group assigned

     • Regular Reporting selection

     • Trigger Group assigned

     Success message appears.

     

5. If you set Mode Control Enable Group in Error Reporting section of PROPERTIES, the Enable Group Values are created and displayed for the assigned Enable Group in the Enable Application.

   

6. Below are Action Selector Creation scenarios:

   Condition	Below Action Selectors are created and displayed for the assigned Trigger Group in the Trigger Application
   If a Mode Control Enable Group is assigned	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Action Selectors for each used Dimmer Channel Action Selectors for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply and Unit Errors Action Selector 255 for All errors
   If Regular Reporting is set to: Disabled (Triggered only) All Errors, Most Recent only All Errors, Most Recent and Most Severe	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Action Selectors for each used Dimmer Channel Error Action Selectors for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply and Unit Errors Action Selector 255 for All errors
   If Regular Reporting is set to Minimum Errors, Most Recent only	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Action Selectors for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply and Unit Errors Action Selector 255 for All Errors

7. Below are the Error Channels scenarios:

   Condition	Below Error Channels are created and displayed for the assigned Device ID in the Error Application

   If Regular Reporting is set to: Disabled (Triggered only) All Errors, Most Recent only All Errors, Most Recent and Most Severe	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Error Channels for each used Dimmer Channel Error Channels for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply, and Unit Errors
   If Regular Reporting is set to : Minimum Errors, Most Recent only Minimum Errors, Most Recent and Most Severe	The below check boxes are enabled and selected by default. Error Channels for Channel Aggregate, C-Bus Power Supply, and Unit Errors
