SENPIRIB (5753L) Sensor
The features include the ability to:
-
Switch the detector On/Off.
-
Set power failure values.
-
Set LED assignment.
The field informations to configure SpaceLogic C-Bus SENPIRIB sensor are described as below:
Applications |
This section displays the lighting applications supported by the SENPIRIB sensor. Up to two lighting applications can be defined and then used throughout the configuration of the SENPIRIB sensor. By default, Lighting is selected in the Application 1 drop-down list and <unused> is selected in Application 2 drop-down list. To add Application:
Repeat the same for Application 2. NOTE: The Trigger and Enable options are available only in Application
2 drop-down list. It supports application addresses from 48 to
127, 202 and 203. The application selected in Application 1 drop-down list will not be listed in Application 2 drop-down
list and vice versa.

Configuration |
Mode |
Select the required option from the Mode drop-down list. The options are:
Group |
Expiry Time |
The expiry time values are set to define an interval of time to elapse before the Lighting group is turned Off. This is often used for activating a time delay after motion is detected. Select the desired expiry time. NOTE: The Expiry Time field ranges from 0 to 18 hours, 12 minutes, and
15 seconds.
NOTE: When you select No mode Set (Advanced Configuration) from Mode drop-down list, Expiry Time field
is disabled.

Light Level Target (Lux) |
In the Light Level Target (Lux) section, use the target selection list and margin selection list to lux values suitable for the light level requirements where the sensor is installed.
Light Level Margin (%) |
Current State |
Potentiometer A It is used for adjusting light level, block timers, and occupancy behaviour. You can use the potentiometers to set light level target in lux. |
Function |
Select the required option from the Function drop-down list. The options are <Unused>, Light Level and Sunset Adjust, Block Timer Adjust, and Occupancy Sensitivity Adjust. By default, Light Level and Sunset Adjust option is selected. |
Block |
Block drop-down list is enabled only if you select Block Timer Adjust from Function drop-down list. Select the required option from the Block drop-down list, that contains the lighting type group to be controlled by potentiometer change. By default, 1:<Unused> option is selected. |
Level |
Displays the current potentiometer position as a 0-255 value, if you are viewing the configuration from the physical unit. The Refresh button is enabled only when the Network is opened and scanned. |
Indicator Brightness The brightness of the LEDs can be defined by one of three methods. |
Select the required option from the Indicator Brightness drop-down list. The options are Fixed, Block 1 Level and PE Cell Level.
By default, Fixed option is selected. |

Edit Device |
It displays Advanced Configuration button. For more information, refer Advanced Configuration SENPIRIB. |
Global You can configure the timing parameters, learn mode, and potentiometer A. |
Timing Parameters You can provide duration values for controlling the behaviour of the sensor. |
Timing Threshold |
Select the timing threshold from the drop-down list. By default, it is set to 208 ms. This drop down provides duration values by which motion detection triggering can be regulated. |
Ramp 1 |
Ramp 1 rate can be set from instant to max 1020 seconds. By default, it is set to 4 seconds. It specifies the time taken to ramp a light from minimum to maximum brightness (or vice versa). |
Ramp 2 |
Ramp 2 rate can be set from instant to max 1020 seconds. By default, it is set to 12 seconds. |
Status Report |
Allows to set the duration in mm:ss. Provides automatic detection and correction of discrepancies between the states of grouped inputs and outputs. By default, it is set to 3 seconds. Mouse over on the Status Report info icon to view the tooltip message. |
Learn Mode You can configure the unit for learn mode. |
Allow Learn Mode |
Only if you select the Allow Learn Mode check box, the Application Learn drop-down list will be enabled. By default, the Allow Learn Mode check box is selected. |
Application Learn |
Select the required option from the Application Learn drop-down list. the options are Current and Any. To determine whether learn mode can be used to group channels with other units of the same application address, select Current. To determine whether learn mode can be used to group channels with other units of any application address, select Any. |
