Unit Firmware Upgrade

SpaceLogic C-Bus Firmware Upgrade

The following procedure is applicable for the below listed SpaceLogic C-Bus units

• DALI-2 Gateway

• Digital Dimmers

• Key Input Unit

• Relays

Prerequisites: Check the SpaceLogic C-Bus product instructions for details

1. Connect the unit to the system through an appropriate USB cable

2. Click

3. Click Firmware

4. Select the unit

   TIP: Click to change the firmware file location, if necessary.
   IMPORTANT: DO NOT close the application or switch between views while the unit firmware upgrade is in progress. This might result in stopping application abruptly.

   • At a time, only one device can be selected for firmware upgrade.

     

   • Only one unit type (Example: If multiple DALI-2 gateway devices are connected, other devices of the same unit type must be disconnected, except for the unit that requires an upgrade).

     Upgrade is disabled when two same unit types (Example: Two DALI-2 gateways/Dimmers/Key) are connected.

     

   • If any of the devices listed in the above SpaceLogic C-Bus units is in "Boot Loader" mode, the error will be displayed.

     

5. Click Upgrade.

   

6. Upgrade completed

   

eDLT Wall Plates Firmware Upgrade

Prerequisites: Check the SpaceLogic C-Bus product instructions for details.

1. Connect the eDLT unit to the system through an appropriate USB cable

2. Click

3. Click Firmware

4. Select the eDLT unit

5. For eDLT units, an additional option ”Force font data installation” is present, which is unchecked by default

   If checked, the latest eDLT font file will be installed along with firmware upgrade

   
   TIP: Click to change the firmware file location, if necessary.
   IMPORTANT: DO NOT close the application or switch between views while the unit firmware upgrade is in progress. This might result in stopping application abruptly.

6. Click Upgrade

   NOTE: Only one eDLT at a time can be upgraded. Upgrade is disabled when two eDLT units are connected.
