Firmware

Prerequisites: The SpaceLogic C-Bus Commission software must already be open. C-Bus unit must be connected to your PC using the appropriate USB cable.

The Firmware section will allow you to update the firmware in the C-Bus Units. The respective firmware files for the update process are available within the software.

The general method to upgrade firmware is :

Click
Click Firmware

NOTE: When no devices are connected, the Firmware upgrade page with Refresh is enabled.

The Firmware page with disabled Upgrade is displayed.
Connect a Unit device and click Refresh , when devices are detected Upgrade is enabled.

NOTE: A Unit device is connected to PC using a USB cable.

Step result: The connected devices are displayed and Upgrade is enabled.

TIP: Click to change the firmware file location of any connected device, if necessary.

IMPORTANT:

User can upgrade only one device of the same type at a time. Example One eDLT at a time out of Two eDLTs
User can upgrade multiple devices of different type at a time. Example one eDLT and one DALI- 2 Gateway.
