Remote Configuration

This tab will be only enabled when your controller has been assigned a subscription from the SpaceLogic KNX Remote service. Available through eConfigure/ETS, this feature allows the system integrator to securely access your controller remotely and configure your KNX project or controller.

The REMOTE CONFIGURATION tab has the following sections:

1. Remote Project Configuration:

   • This feature allows system integrators to securely and remotely connect to your controllers to configure the KNX project and installation once you have shared access to your controller.

   • Click the Enable button to enable this feature.

2. Remote Controller Access:

   • This feature provides secure remote access to your controller.

   • Select the Log level from a drop-down menu (1 – 11).
     
     NOTE: By adjusting the log level, you can control how much information is recorded, which can help monitor the VPN's performance and troubleshoot any issues. The logging level determines the amount of detail that is recorded in the log files. There are 11 levels of logging, with each level providing a different amount of detail:

     • Log level 1: Logs only critical errors.

     • Log level 5: Logs standard operational information.

     • Log level 11: Logs all available information, including detailed debug messages.

     
     
   • Click the Enable button to enable this feature.

Enable both Remote Project Configuration and Remote Controller Access to allow the system integrator to securely and remotely access and configure your controller and KNX projects.
