Creating Your Applet

If you want to create your custom applet (automation), follow these steps:

1. Create your own applet:

   • Click on the Create button at the top right of the IFTTT screen.

     

2. Choose a service (trigger):

   • Click Add on the If This button to select the service or device that will initiate the automation.

   • Examples include social media platforms, smart home devices, weather services, email providers, etc.

   • For example, choose “Wiser for KNX by Schneider Electric” as the trigger and select “Light turned on/off” as the specific event.

3. Set up trigger details:

   • Depending on the selected trigger, provide specific information or authorization to connect the service.

   • Follow the prompts to complete the trigger setup and click Create Trigger.

4. Choose an action:

   • Click Add on the Then That button to select the service or device where you want the automation result to occur.

   • For example, choose “Wiser for KNX by Schneider Electric” as the action and select “Set the temperature” as the action task.

5. Set up action details:

   • Similar to the trigger, you'll be prompted to provide information or authorize the connection to the selected action service.

   • Follow the instructions to complete the action setup and click Create action.

6. Review and activate:

   • Review the summary of your applet, including the trigger and action details. If you want to make changes, click Edit on the If or Then buttons.

   • If everything looks good, click on the Continue button.

     

   • Type the title of your applet in the Applet Title field and click Finish to activate your applet.
