There is a five step procedure required in order to enable the PowerLogic ADVC Controller to communicate with a SCADA master station using the DNP3 protocol:
Check that DNP3 is available.
Select a communications port for DNP3.
Configure the communications settings for the selected port.
Assign the selected port to DNP3.
Configure the DNP3 settings.
