Sequence Reset Time

There is a single Sequence Reset Timer setting for both the forward and reverse protection groups. Whenever a successful automatic reclose occurs following a protection trip, the sequence reset timer will start.

When the timer expires, both the forward and reverse sequence counters will be reset to zero.

If another trip occurs after an automatic reclose before the sequence reset timer has expired, the timer will reset and start again when the next automatic reclose occurs providing the protection has not picked up.
